Tbh, I think this thread was a silly idea. I know the intent was to be more open about it and show there is nothing to be concerned about, problem being that is never going to work seeing as the issue for the protesters is that they are not in it ....

Everyone likes to feel special and no-one likes to feel excluded, this thread just reinforces both those feelings, especially amongst those who feel their input is valuable ... you don't need to justify it's existence or why who is in and who is out ... as you can see it only makes things worse.

Nope, we were not obligated to warn people leaving scents. And yes, I am a bad guy in haven. I might raid noobs, I might help them at the same time. It is not always black and white when it comes to anyone in haven. Any factions have done both good and bad.

I started having an issue with IP mostly after burgi and some other 'gents' were shacking with their membership saying something like "good that J&Lo has IP so they do not have to read all the nonsense you write" (pointed at Robben). I was talking about the lack of diversity as a point for not having IP at all, simply because it seems to consist of people with the same views on how haven should work.

It just irks me to see people use their position to lord over others. I could care less about being a member of some sektrit club. J&L clearly read the rest of the forums.

The people in IP do not have the same views at all, but the diversity could stand to grow. I don't mean diversity with regards to nationalities or villages I mean diversity in play style.

Currently it feels like it's lacking from the isolated language bubble communities (koreans and russians for example) and from the "ad hoc" style of village that brodgar and some other villages have.
The reason it's lacking these are obvious though, the language bubble communities often communicate on their own forums and using their own game resources. Ad hoc towns are often populated largely by newer players as more experienced players slowly gravitate to organized towns.

Hopefully someone comes forward and actually talks about their experiences in either of these village types, because in general it's something you rarely see detailed information about.

This thread has divolved too much into petty accusations of who did what to whom in the past and what kind of experiece qualifies whom. The point of the IP is more about feedback posted in a coherent and condensed way so it is easier for the devs to notice major issues. I am sure 20 different people could do that too but it is what it is now. None of us asked to be put in there, it was sipmly people Jorb trusted at that time. It seems he still believes that is true or there would have been changes. This thread shows many are unable to distinguish between personal feelings and professional feedback which would be a problem for said condensed feedback.

Yeah, I understand ... I was generalising and semi joking, not pointing to any one person in particular ... I guess my main point is a 'secret club' is secret for a reason.

But, to reply ... I don't see it quite in the way you see it, if Nao and Jordan are in there then the combat side of things are represented to an extent and I'm sure there are other players in there who also understand those issues. Burg has already said it could use more diversity.
The fact remains at the end of the day that no matter how anyone feels about it, the decision for who is in it rightly belongs to the devs, it is their game and their sounding board.

That is indeed worrying seeing how Roben has such great suggestions and everyone in the community doesn't even groan or rolls their eyes when he posts asking to make our lives grindier and more annoying. Good thing you agree with him our lives are indeed too easy. It's not like bots can't fix it whatever the masochist asks amiright? Thank you And if you don't agree with him thank you for being a defender of the underdog his opinion is clearly valuable for him and the two other larpomasochists around.

Also burgs affirmation if the paraphrasing is indeed reliable is in fact correct. Jorb and loftar don't have to read any of it. Or IP or forums at all. And loftar doesn't. And jorb does it anyway. And I'm sure the fact that burg was the one to make the claim didn't color your perception at all no?
