You cant just go to school in US. Its expensive, you probably wont even find work even if you have college education. And if you do, you get shitty terms.

Also, in communist society. You wont be paid money, you cant be poor nor rich. Everyone gets the basic stuff for living comfortably, food, house, healthcare, some basic commodities and so on. Personal luxury items could be distributed for those who do really shitty jobs, or by voting/raffling. Stuff like fast cars, luxury yachts, could also be voted, or given to groups. These things could be varied and changed democratically depending on regions.
It's not that accurate that some law would say "You get 59grams of butter for cleaning toilets for 2 hours" no no. These things could be varied by what people prefer.
