That's a nice strawman. My assertion is that one cannot be objective about his own person. I did not make any statements regarding perception of reality in general.

I think it's possible for humans to be truly objective, it's just not realistic.

Personal, I believe me to be a man who exists in this really real reality. ''My own person'' is one that is existing I mean. How does perception of real object have nothing to do with reality in general? The two are fundamental relation. If I am unable to perceive myself as I really am, how can I be so sure that I am perceive any other men as he really is? Especially upon consider that I am the one with most information of myself. You think that this more information gives less clear judgement?

Several things can cause misrepresentation of how someone perceives themselves:

1. Denial- Most notably when dealing with flaws. It is not as much of a misrepresentation to yourself as more to refusing to accept.
2. Limited perception- Even as long as we live with ourselves, there are still things that we have yet to discover about ourselves. I discovered recently that I developed into a survivalist under perilous situation.
3. Bias- You know yourself best but you do not know other as well so it is very hard to gauge yourself to others. This can go both ways: as an egotist, you are more biased towards your own capability. But as someone with low self-esteem, you are more biased towards everyone's else over yours.
4 Misjudge- Let's face it. You are not perfect as you may judge something about even yourself. This is assuming 1 and 3 are not the reason.

There are some of the common occurrence that I see as my role of an observer, both on the internet and real life.

This is agreeable. This also point to ''men are bad at judging the nature of all men'' and not ''men are bad at judging the nature of themselves.'' All of this factor can apply to men who are not me.

A couple of those traits (bias and denial) can be negated. Which is why I'd agree that generally people are better at judging others than themselves. Mind you, racism is the big downfall in that concept.
