Other game like H&H?

Postby Ants » Sat Aug 29, 2015 12:18 am

If this game's pay2play system remains like it is, maybe we should migrate to another game. Do you guys know of any games similar to what H&H used to be? I know there's Salem. That game is still free, right?

Try Don't Starve Together if you haven't, scratches a similar itch.

I'm working on it. Ancients. 2D Historical 200BCE, 32-bit graphics. Multiplayer, sandbox-simulation with NPCs and all sorts of crazy shit I can't recall. Just check out the screenshots thus far. I keep everything up to date on the twitter at the moment.

I've played it a few years ago, it's very similar to H&H. The only downside is that the graphics look like shit.

Salem has gotten a major overhaul and has new developers who push nearly weekly updates. Its a solid game for no cost at all.

Salem is still free to play for one, but you can buy stuff in the shop to support the devs. I'm glad I didn't declaim my town there after learning about the changes for the new HH.
