I'm pumped for the new claiming system

Claims now have an upkeep of presence points. These points are generated automatically if you have the produced item "A Bond of Blood & Soil" in your study window. Presumably a % of the LP you earn, similar to old village system. Alternatively, you can spend pure LP to regenerate the claim.

Haha... Don't waste the LP >.>

I'm interested to see if this stops mid/late game claim bloat. Although them not working as an LP bank anymore should help that a lot too.

So if you don't have that in your study the "720/720" goes down, which you then refill. That's a very neat way of fixing the problem of abandoned claims everywhere.

But what's the purpose of the renew bond button? Do you have to continually assert that claim as your own or am I missing something?

Actually, I think that's for making a new study window thing if you lose your current one. The bond is the item, and you can remove it from your study if you want to.

Not sure if I wanna trash my hard wasted LP to confirm that :P And if so, bond thieving gonna be the new pantsing.

thanks :) The new control system is really helping my wrist injury, so it's much more playable now

Ah yeah that's probably it.

So if claim bond is now a physical item what happens if someone takes it from your study? or you put it in a container, and someone picks it up and puts it in their study?
Why is Xcom gone when he is needed most

I'd answer these myself but I'm currently trying to run away from the main spawn group that seems to be around to find a bit of empty space before I bother trying to build things

Good questions, actually it might poof if you remove it I didn't test. Memories of dropped empresses make me a little hesitant :P That and I blew 300LP testing what the refill button did before I read the bond text >.>

I'm futzing around building a little claim/home waiting for mapping/meetup technology. It's pretty boring playing alone and every player I've met either doesn't speak english or has a proper healthy paranoia of people.

Well except the guys who stole my crate XD They were nice enough to give me the bait I was storing in it back :)

I read the other thread and didn't see the following. Does it actually take X% LP from your studied items or is it a bonus for having it there similar to village authority? If the former, no reason you can't take it out and just manually add LP to the claim. If the latter, you'd have to decide which claim(s) are important enough to keep filled up without one vs having that extra space for more LP earning.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
