Salem was a commissioned project that ended up being horribly shit somewhere towards the beginning of development and no amount of patches could make it not shit.

The game itself was shit. They left the project because there was no passion in it. Because it was shit.

they make money off a game that two guys put together over the course of what 5+ years? Even if its a hobby its put together well and its going to be fun. and it the simple fact if they keep this flavor and the reboots land every year all those stupid p2w bullshit will be ilreveant cuz ppl just wasting money lol.
