Easiest way to get wool?

I need wool for gauze but you can't get wool from wild sheep any more so is taming easier or still annoying as heck?

You CAN get wool from them, what did you fuck up?

You need to give them the clover and then shear them. Only rclick them ONCE as a second rclick when they're moving to "eat" the clover will cancel the action.

Taming may be even worse now lol due no glitches or beaches and fences to abuse

Like Vigi said, just use a clover on them, stay still till they eat it, then right click them and shear with a stone axe.
