Trench warfare?

Postby Jacobian123 » Sat Sep 05, 2015 4:41 am

Since terraforming is a thing now, and terrain blocks arrows, would that make trenches a viable form of defense/offense?

I'm thinking of siege mechanics a little, and it seems like it would be nice to have some kind of barrier against pesky rangers with their bows and slings (if they ever get implemented.)

What do you guys think?

Also, to whoever stole my crate of worms, I hope you choke on them.

yeah that would be interesting make artificial cliffs people would have to climb
if you have the high ground you should be able to do more damage to your enemy with a bow or melee

This made me audibly laugh.

Also, I think the trench warfare is a viable option for sure, I was thinking of ways terraforming could come into play other than flattening.

we built a hill for our palisade, a small 1 tile thick raised hill around our base.
This game really needs a great sword...

It'd be fun if the terrain meant more, yes.
