Spit orientation

Postby tweinst » Sun Sep 06, 2015 3:09 am

I have my fireplace placed up against a wall, and when I try to turn a spit, it tries to make me stand inside the wall, instead of at the crank (which is clear). What determines where the use location is for the spit? It doesn't seem to have anything to do with where I stand when the spit is place. Is it related to where I was standing when the fireplace was built?

Likely, when you're placing an item shift+mousewheel rotates it. If you didn't rotate it, there might be a default orientation for the fire.
