Legacy haven plans

So what are the plans? Will it be reset and left alone at that?
Would be glad to know before buying. (After the implementation of alternative payment methods)

The current plan is to let it stagnate and die slowly and without honor

Loftar is not particularly keen on making it a permanent feature, as the support for it costs more than it's worth.

I'm more supportive of the idea of keeping it around for museum purposes, and whatever.

We are, in short, not entirely sure yet.

Is there no way to sell it separately as a single player game?
I would surely buy it for far more than 15 dollars.

Would there be a problem in selling legacy as a singleplayer game with a bundled dedicated server?

As much as I love Hafen (so far), I would love if you kept Haven around. It doesn't need to to be up at your server, I get that it is money after all, but would it be possible for you to release it in some form that would allow people to make their own servers? I'm a sentimental guy, I would be sad if I knew that old Haven died and I will never have a chance to run it at some point later in my life and say "Ah, those were the times".

How much does it still cost to run legacy Haven anyways? I can't imagine hosting a dead game costs much. Or are you talking about time investment?
