Why aren't characters anatomically correct? The Ken and Barbie look is a bit disturbing.

I mean, it's not salem.

The model may be a bit off, the face could be nightmare fuel, but it's not salem.

The horses from salem.... those creeped the heck out of me.

On a general salem note. I still hate turkeys.

That being said, I'll consider some improvements in this department.

They look - in the equipment more than anywhere, really - more like creatures hastily made in Spore, with a hastily made human face thrown on the front.

That said, they do look very good in-game - especially from far away.

They were never made to be seen up close, anyway. In Classic Haven or now. So I don't think it's that bad.

It's called a style really.
Personally I loved the characters in Salem - they really fit the world they created.
However I love the overall look of this game (though the horses are a bit ugly) now that it went 3d, Love all the water / liquid effects - the way they morph the geometry is brilliant.
The 2d or 3d game of haven and hearth is unique, and that's something that I respect them for. Though the character faces guys... :3
