Les Stroud's "Survivorman"

Old but I only just got around to watching first episode of these series last night, and I know salem is unpopular round here but the cricket kebab definitely made me feel like JLo has been watching.

So is this show already popular among haven players? I found a torrent last night for season 1, only had 1 seeder

I found it a really great show to watch, and I learned a LOT about surviving from Les, random stuff that would apply to where I live if I ever got lost or went long-term camping. It's a great watch, because you know it's just him and some cameras.

I love watching survival programs in general. Mears, &c&c.

There was a guy who did a blog called "Surviverman on Wurm" (spelling mistake intended), where he played Wurm Online as if he was Les Stroud. It was a great read.

If someone more creative than I were to do "Survivorman in the Hearthlands", it would either end too quickly, or be fantastic.

Im only 2 episodes in but I find survivorman alot more preferable to others. ray mears is authentic but alot of it is just him frollicing in the woods reading poetry. bear grylls is more action, and sometimes hilarious, but largely set-up. Le stroud does seem to be legit, no bullshit, survival.

One of the dudes is a total hippie to the point it's annoying but they show some real stuff.
I was impressed when they actually hunted animals on screen - Haven't seen any other survival shows that did that, all the others do is eat crickets.

Didn't you see that one where Bear Grylls just picks up this tortoise, and just shoves it on fire whole and alive. more brutal than shooting something.
