How good do you think i am?

Postby linkfanpc » Tue Oct 06, 2015 7:11 pm

I've been playing for over a week. That isn't much time, but i have never, and i mean NEVER, died at all. (Except once i intentionally drowned a character as an experimentation to see both what happens when you die, and what happens when you start/do drown.) Other than that i haven't died at all yet. Yeah, I've had my butt beaten of by a few boars, but i never died. So i was wondering, is this considered good? Just outta curiosity. Also, i'd like to add i have a semi-large camp I've made with two of my brother's, with a timber house that we share, a log cabin we use for storage, a claim i made, some stuff like a oven, kiln, rope twiner, (or whatever it's called) boats and carts, loom and sewing wheel etc, and some random stuff we'll never use but made just 'cause we could, like a wine press & stone crucible. We were thinking about moving too. (Saying that just 'cuz were proud. )

I'd also like to hear some recommendations from you guys and to tell us about your base, i'd love to hear. See ya!

Sincerely,
Linkfanpc.

Good for you. It isn't about being good or bad at the game, it's about having fun. And i can see you're having yours.
Also, yeah, you probably should consider moving, as i can assume you've settled in the starting area. You should move out of it if you don't want too many people visiting.

Good luck.

The world's huge. Half and hour is nothing, but if you want to interact with more people you may as well stay there. Just take it into consideration that they won't be always positive interactions ;)

Alright, I'll take your bait on what "good" players will have going defenses wise:

Within 3-4 days of starting, you should be able to put up a palisade and a village claim. Within 3-4 weeks, you should have a brick wall.
