This game is really fun!

Okay, I am completely hooked. You have your talons in me and I doubt I will be free any time soon.
So, here is my question. If this server filled up with players, would it crash? Also, would the game experience be ruined by too many players? how big is the map and how far apart do we start?

Just curious, because finding this game was not easy and I don't want to ruin the experience with advertisement.

Accept the fact that when you die, you learn a WHOLE LOT MORE. You'll fit right in if you can accept fate. God speed, little newbie.

Server usually only crashes on game breaking bugs that the devs then fix.
Ruined by too many players? Hell naw, the map is massive man.
You start EXTREMELY close to everyone, in the middle. walk 1 or 2 hours in any direction if you dont want to be harassed when you start.

Hey and welcome to HnH :)

I think the server could handle quite a few more players. So that shouldn't be an issue, bring 'em all on!

As for the experience, it highly depends on the kind of player. This is a permadeath game with high investment characters so it attracts people who love PvP quite a bit. Thoise can be a real pain for other new players as a newbie running around in the forest is naturally the easiest target for them. Easier than sieging a brickwalled city for 24 hours.

But there is of course other folks too that like to build, socialize, create interesting projects and other things. The game runs a lot on paranoia though because you will never know what the stranger that just entered your screen is going to do to you.
General rule of thumb is that it has gotten more violent over the years though...

So I hope that does not scare you off. If I were you I would read up on general guides about how to defend yourself, get a palisade up, claim your land and also prepare for unpleasant experiences and deaths until you have learned the ropes.

No, those who run after a naked newbie running in a forest DON'T like pvp, they like easy pking and harassing!
PvP stands for player vs player, where both players are fighting each other. Running after someone you can put down in 1 - 2 hits is NOT pvp, as you'll not get any experience from that other than making someones life a bit shittier.

Well of course it is PvP, but I do not want to argue semantics here.

To be fair, you can escape advanced people even if your character is not.

If the defender and attacker have equal amount of equal Q water/tea and neither have boat waiting for them: how do you escape?

Isn't the only way to get away then that you manage to open your gates and pray that the enemy don't manage to run inside before you manage to close the gates?

that would imply you'd been walking around with your master key.

Welcome, thanks, and glad you like it.

We can handle more players.
