A peek into a Hermitage

Postby Strandmullen » Wed Oct 28, 2015 1:49 am

Welcome to my Hermitage! I started playing on this character in the middle of September and this current base I have been at since the 4:th of October.

A look at my base
I am a hermit. This is my base.

My cows feel worried I'll hurt them when they see all their friends hanging with me.

My trees have started growing, but not really taken off yet. I'm trying to make them feel at home.

I'm sorry enviornment, but nothing can stand in the way of industrialization.

Soon my Merchant's Robe will be done.

Edit: Done!

I like the new stockpiles.

I'd like to buy 3000 dirt.

I feel like I must apologize for having such an ugly house.

I like all of it except for that mansion, colours aren't great.

If you need help ramming it down I'll be happy to help.

When I built it I didn't care about how it would look, I was sort of in a hurry, but I thought "It can't get that ugly". It got that ugly and now I have to deal with the consequences all day every day for the rest of my life.

Yeah, I really like how he has his hermitage laid out.

Seems my hermitage is just a shadow... butt that is to be expect from UN-payed scum like myself.

That's an organized hermitage. No larpiness there. I like it.

Looks nice, you need like like 15 more beehives though.

How many hours do you play a day and what are your stats?
I'm trying to make sense out of my hermitage and progress is glacially slow, specially since I suck at hunting/mining.

Neat.

Tip: Since food troughs can feed animals while completely ignoring walls, it's a lot more convenient (if less realistic) to place the trough outside the animal pen. Gets kinda important when you get more of the critters running around, they attempt jailbreaks. If you were aware, disregard and carry on :)
Lucky: haven is so quirky
Lucky: can be so ugly, can be so heartwarming
