A Tale of Three Kings

Postby Longshanks87 » Thu Nov 26, 2015 11:21 pm

A story of three kings.

It was a long and arduous task exclaimed Wilson of Riverwood, filled with danger and a monstrous amount of resources, are you sure you wish to persue this endeavour?
Tigerwolf replies simply, it is my destiny...
Longshanks attempted to join the conversation but was shunned at his remarks of time consumption and satiation preservation,
you just want to hide away in your underground cavern shanks, there is no point in going deeper, your just simply not strong enough..
Reluctantly agreeing Longshanks decided that it was in his best interest to pool together and work towards the aquisition of enough resources to complete construction..

For the next few days the three kings took about their workloads at full pace, relentlessly searching high and low, the murkwood swamplands of the four cardinal directions proved frivelous in quantity and even more tiresome in quality.
The endless siege of battery within the walls of the darkened caverns proved tough for even the most hardened of miners.
The Lost Woods seemed to turn each hearthling back to where he came from every time one would enter, thus making it near impossible to find enough wild hogs to hang high.

Dismayed yet not discouraged our three heroes pressed onwards ever growing their sight towards the ultimate legendary goal.

Shanks would cut down all those nasty dark trees that got in his way. thus turning the Lost Woods into plains and fields of green grass. where new life would spring forth and provide bountiful harvests of meat and hide.
Wilson the great would destroy the very walls that stood in his way and press onwards carving a cavern of Black Gold out of the lowest levels of the underworld.
Tiger let not the murkiest waters sway him as he stumbled upon a horse, clover in hand he wait patiently, horse drawing ever closer, at the right moment he leaps forth and captures the wild beast, he rides off into the sunset with just enough wax from the weeping swamps to complete his endeavour.

Together three kings have pulled enough resource out of the hearthlands to complete their most time consuming project to date.

Arduous was the task at hand exclaimed Wilson of Riverwood.

You definitely didn't need like 4 pictures building in the signpost

I felt the pictures gave more meaning to some of the sayings in the story, such as the Wilson quote where he gives warning the task is long and arduous, true though i could have made some more story to fit in between the pics giving them a little more substance.
thanks for your input.

Thank you, it took us around four nights to acquire all the materials needed, level the ground, and build in. the tower's primary stone is black ore.

We have a tower of silver ore. Which would be mighty impressive if silver wasn't more common than tin and copper combined.

I really liked the story and the pics did enforce the amount of work involved, great post! :D

However, why oh why did you build the tower so close to the hall, lol, it hurts my eyes. :(
