Valhalla question

Postby infectedking » Sun Jan 24, 2016 11:33 am

Has anyone even had a single fight in there? There has been no posts or anything really about the place except 1 guy early on in the patch who said he was so lonely.

I guess nobody considers combat for combats sake fun.

That and not many fighters have had deaths yet. I imagine it could become popular much later in the world.

If Valhalla keeps chars through different worlds it will rock.
Just imagine yourself fighting against the onion fighter if that were possible. Or against the Komodo of the last world.

One of the problems is that there is no single player reason to be there, which means you have to coordinate to go there, and why do that, and blablabla.

Later on when more players have died, maybe player-driven events can be held for fun, or even tournaments for prizes, etc.

Who knows? Valhalla is a great idea with tons of possibility for interesting things.

Well, it has recently been talked about how one of the things Haven is about are bloodlines.

Maybe fighting in Valhalla could slowly earn some kind of permanent minor 'buffs' to one's bloodline similar to the Legacy benefits of beliefs and ancestorship. To prevent it to be 'farmed', gains could be limited over certain stretches of time and killing the same person over and over could not have the same effect.

For example (numbers out of nowhere, just a thought):

For every 100 DIFFERENT characters you kill in the same week in Valhalla, your bloodline gains 0.1% LP preservation (up to 10%)
