I think its good. Noobs have chance even if they start playing game after first 2 weeks.

Some people might say whats point of brickwall then.
Well, it can take more hits from siege engines such as catapults. And its way more harder to break than palisade. So some hermit cant just raid you while youre on holiday

Oh yes it is, sure it isnt massive difference. But there is. You can basically break palisade with fresh spawned alts and battering ram. But for brickwall you need many people with atleast 100 hundred str each. And even then its very slow.

Palibashing as a mechanic is just useless.
New players have no way of getting steel in first 1-2 week or even month if they are new to game + casual.

they also increased palisade soak, so this is probably the plan.

Honestly I don't mind it too much. Means you now require some actual effort to raid an active palisaded claim instead of being able to wipe out any noobie just because you have enough STR, and you can.
The one thing is that there's now not too much difference between building a palisade and a brickwall. The brickwall will only be slightly more resilient to sieges (after a claim shield has been broken), but otherwise there's really not much of a benefit for spending the time getting the bricks and the metal (apart from maybe guaranteeing that you won't be possibly fucked over in the future due to changes to the wall mechanics).
