Hafen is changing?

Postby ravenguard19 » Wed Mar 09, 2016 7:43 pm

So today, i've been visited by a stranger. First, he was completely naked, riding a tamed horse. I assumed he's a cocky-wocky noob killer trying to bait me out of my possesion. I started conversation but stepped back into my claim, closing my noob fence gates. Then he put on clothes, sword shield, even winged helm. So at this moment i thought i fucked up, but then a miracle happened. He said he want to help me, he gave me spectacles, offered tips (didn't recognise me by my name). He further said that he played hafen only and that he don't use the forums. He killed few horses for me, including the one he was riding on. Well, i see the game changed a lot. Not only looks and mechanics, players do changed too (or i might been lucky). From bloodthirsty pants stealers from w3 to calm and friendly on this current world. What are your expressions guys? Have you found peace or hatred from other hearthlings?

Red handed is annoying as fuck, killing random noobs isn't fun if you're gonna be unable to port for another hour. And also nidbanes that prevent you from afk-studying mirkwoods.

Nope, it's still bad out there.

My group has not run into many issues either (since we moved at least). Nibanes probably help a lot to discourage random griefing.

it also helps that I think most of the major villages are not warring in our area at the moment.

Really? I only got stolen from once when we didnt have a claim up yet and he only took our weariness leaves and clay cauldron. All the other people i met were friendly.
Total misplay.

There have always been nice people in Haven. You just need to have the luck to run into them instead of running into the people who will kill you for the heck of it.

I'm this type of person. If we swapped roles, i think that i would have killed him. Karma is a bitch, i did not deserve to be treated in such way. Or maybe it's a sign to change...

It might also help if more of y'all ACTED like generous people...

I had a Polish nub wander by my place. He asked for 6 string, and I obliged. We parted company politely. It's not hard. Try it; your heart might grow three sizes today!

You are much loved! Love in return!
