Bats Suck

Some bats aggroed me for no reason while i was mining.
I was crawling about 3 squares away and it attacked me out of the blue destroyed my armor, gave me wounds, etc. :evil:
Why should you avoid players near salt sources? Because they're SALTY.

My friend told me to aggro one in a boat and it started flying through water and hit me and I had only 1hp, almost died, fuck bats.

You do realize they are extremely easy to kill. I mean 20 agi and a sword and their are no issue

I thought this thread would be about how bad bats are. I have some mediocre bronze armor and bats literally cant dmg me, even with their yellow IP attack they just ping my armor for 0.

Yeah, well I haven't been making enough progress to fight bats due to the fucking concussions I always get.

How close to a mountain are you? you can always make compresses, Or you could just not get into combat until your char is fully healed so that you don't keep getting concussion.

Seems like performing an action attracts their attention, maybe because you still move just slightly. I remember walking near some without catching any aggro but as soon as I pulled water from a barrel one of them decided I was being too loud

Bats are the second easiest animal to beat in the game. They are second only to ants. If you expect to spend time in caves, you need some combat ability. So get 30 UA if you can't get a sword. Get some agility. And just kill them.
