Are silkmoth gender probability 50 50? Can we get a confirmation on that? I dont seem to be getting even numbers or even somewhat close numbers hatching

Remember, that's just a probability. With 90% for male you could get female 10x times in a row.

My experience tells me that male silkmoths are way more common, but tha6t doesnt mean anything.

I've gotten ridiculous distributions in both directions, so I'm pretty sure it is really 50/50 and sometimes you just get really unlucky.

Pretty sure it's meant to be 50/50 but chance rarely works out that way. I've run sequential batches and the ratio of male to female moths evens out from batch to batch. You always have some left over of one sex or another.
