EDIT: So, after a long healing process, I went back to the cave.... hit a cave wall, and had ANOTHER cave in on the first swing. Fate forbids me to mine, apparently.

When you realize that 88 wretched gore, 18 fell slash, 38 concussion, 38 severe mauling and 8 deep cuts are too much to be healed and decides to kill your character, but then when on your last hunting trip your client crashes and a peaced out boar kills you in unknown way, and disappears.

i once got added to a main village in legacy. after passing the tests in the recruitment village. boar killed me just outside said main village the same day i joined and just after the leader logged, and i was WELL outside that damn things aggro radius....

more of a glitch than a newbie moment..... but fuck me, that sucked.

The real newbie moment is that you didn't realize that that's an custom-client indicator and not an actual aggro radius.

I died a bunch to summonings when I was a newbie but they were basically all worth except one or two.
