So my friend and I were out and about looking for some people to kill earlier on. After stopping by a few bases (All of which looked more than capable of defending themselves) and trying to coerce the people inside to come out, who wouldn't for some reason despite outnumbering us, we continued on our journey.
We then came across a rather large village which had an excessive amount of walls. Aramore is its name, whoever the fuck they are. I was sat in my boat on my archer alt aiming at their gate while my friend ran up to their walls to see what was up. After a short amount of time, 1 of them, who was on a horse, opened the gate I was aiming for and ran out, fully decked out in steel thinking he was solid. I 1 bombed that fuck face, when suddenly 3 more of the fuckers came from the other sides of the base, also on horses.
My friend (Who thought it would be a great idea to PvP while using a fucking touch pad of all things) ended up dying after finishing the guy I knocked out off. I tried to provide covering fire, but apparently 150 MM is completely thwarted by the simple act of moving back and forth on a horse.
Anyway...After he finished off my friend, I actually land a shot, but oh wait, what is this? It hits his fucking horse instead of him, are you fucking kidding me? So not only are horses now a source of excellent mobility, but they're also a free get out of jail free card from archers? The thing didn't even die from a shot that did 498 damage either, which just adds insult to injury.
So now the other 3 back off and start bringing both bodies into their base, which I clearly can't stop, so I figure I might as well do what little other damage I can. So I kill the horse that was aggro'd onto me.
Now here is the second bullshit moment. The other horse is not far from me, but it's in a ditch, so I couldn't actually get a good shot on it, so naturally, I use the attack command to try aggro it into running towards me. Nope, wouldn't work, kept getting a message saying something along the lines of "This is property of Aramore". The fuck?
So naturally, they had time to run out and leash it up and bring it back in. That's some hardcore bullshit if I've ever seen it.
Fuck horses.
No idea where this post belongs. I doubt it's Moot material since the actual story part of it is shit and isn't meant to be entertaining. I just want to know why I couldn't aggro that other horse that was wandering around, as well as why, despite horses already being a massive advantage, are they also being allowed to act as a free shield randomly. I would have dropped 2 of those bitches instead of 1 had that arrow actually hit the thing it should have hit.
Bonus question : What MM do I need to have pinpoint precision?
