Wooden roadsigns not working?

So I made a wooden roadsign, and made a series of roadposts conntected to it. I then went back to my origional road sign, and selected travel along. The timer went to 100% and I ported a few signs in, and there was a weird blue floating eye thing on my screen. Why didn't I travel to the end of the oath I made? Did I do something wrong?

you are able to preview the destination before jumping there.

Left click when you see the eye to travel, right click to cancel.

You can do this when entering/exiting a house too.

okay that explains the eye, but why didn't I travel to the actual end of the path I created? I made it like 10 long and only moved 3

Something blocking the route?

I'll check, but can trees/rocks block you from teleporting

They might, if they block normal travel.

I apologize if any of this is wrong. I haven't had much experience with roads.

Check to see if you have a debuff "blocked route"
