It's been a recent issue in US Democratic debates regarding mass shootings. Can anyone explain to me one good reason why gun manufacturers (death salesmen) shouldn't be sued when their weapon is used in a mass shooting?

For the same reason why baseball bat manufacturers shouldn't be sued when their bats are used to kill people? Or butcher knife manufacturers? Or literally anything?

Because you need to be at fault in the eyes of the law to be sued, obviously, and selling legal products in America isn't a crime.

I personally feel like, if someone is some how convinced that gun manufactures should be sued for doing legal business, then there is no way to convince them otherwise. The radical left is just that, radically left. No need to explain anything, you simply will not change your mind and arguments are moot.

In the US u can sue ppl for anything I feel like, so why not this xD
