Strawpoll for Hearthfire Looting

Putting this here as well because of the flood of posts in Announcement thread.

nytro wrote:It's true that there are plenty of other ways that players can keep their items away from enemies. The most annoying of which as you said earlier is by simply destroying their own stuff. In my opinion though, I don't believe everyone will resort to that, and without the option of alt-vaulting, they might end up trying different strategies like running away on horses with loot, etc (which was actually done by a village not too long ago, and was fun to hear about).

In history, there were actually times when people burned down their own livelihoods out of spite against enemies, so I guess it is a realistic option (a lot more realistic than magically disappearing with loot at least). I'd really like to see how it would work out, and what new things can sprout from this implementation. You never know until you try it.

I just want to see who does / doesn't want to try it out.
Also, I don't mean store gear (hats n tokens are ofc safe).

Although I was proposing hf looting as well, there are many loops and abusing ways.
Such as: make underground lvl 1-2-3-4-5 palisade with separate claim. Or better, have one at each level. Your enemy won't be able to guard each exit + siege machines 24/7. So you'll have enough time to store your items. Like many PvP and siege changes, it just boosts the strongest and weakens the weakest.

I'm sure there will be plenty of new strategies that will pop up with the addition of this. If someone is willing to make 5 levels worth of protection to defend their items, I don't see the issue with that. It's a lot harder to do something like that than it is to simply log off with the items at least.

DIS is willing to do that - LadyGoo isn pointing out how her faction and other major factions will benefit most, and others will suffer for it.
That said, DIS probably doesn't need much more loot as their shit is largely automated at this point, I would imagine. ;)

you might as well just make everyone outlawed and stay online 24/7 if randoms can just come and take your stuff from your hf while you are offline.

I was led to believe that it is the possibility of accessing one's inventory via using theft on one's hearthfire.

All in light of certain people being frustrated by other people being too clingy with their posessions during a glorious raid on a village inhabited by latter.
