New World

Oh yes, I know you all fucking adore this question.
But seriously, new world when? I honestly don't see many people at all against this. Everybody knows that currently, end game is shit. The rush of a new world brings people back, and for good reason. A new world is untouched, it's dangerous (hilariously enough, more dangerous than end game despite everybody being bored and going out looking for people to mow down to kill their boredom), there's a lot of fun to be had with the early to mid game.
I know that at first glance, it may feel more logical to wait out on creating a new world until you have created a sufficient plan for end game, but you would be wrong in making that assumption. There's no sign of any clear end game plan yet, from what I'm seeing anyway, and thus it's still no doubt going to take a large amount of time before one is even remotely ready. By that time, the already low amount of people playing now will just keep diminishing. Or it'll remain stagnant, assuming that the people we have left now are the usual crowd who never abandons the game.

Why not get this new combat system you guys are working on into an acceptable state and then do one of two things, comfortable in the fact that you can refine it during the new world.
1. Roll the combat change out with a brand new world. The combat change alone would be an exciting enough new edition to get people interested, numbers would jump up again and everybody would be happy. (Preferred option since it accelerates us into a new world faster).
2. Throw the combat update on live, give people a month to mess around with it (just to see if there's any major fuck ups), and then give us the new world shortly after.

The benefit option 1 also has is that the new and returning players will be on a more even playing field with everybody else as far as combat goes, rather than having to deal with people who have already familiarized themselves with the system due to having the time to play with it that option 2 would provide.

Honestly, if you were to do a poll, right now, asking if people wanted a new world soon, I have no doubt in my mind that the VAST majority of players would vote yes.
Let me just make one thing clear too. The small amount of people that are on daily now are your most loyal players. These are not the type of people that are gonna drop the game because you made another world. The people that would have done that are long gone because end game on here sucks dick. No offense :^)

Your action plan for that new world could be something along the lines of this too.
Finish finessing the new combat formula for a few updates
Work on end game

Tada. Everybody is happy.

I was loading my standard replies how people who wine for world reset usually play for month or two before starting to gradually whine for reset again, but OP seems to have at least some points.

Mostly because that poll would take place on this forum, and 2/3 of players don't read it at all, they play the game at their leisure. And those who are bored because they've been 24/7-ing this game and reached the empty place where more content should've been - they sit on this forum every day and they will vote "yes" on New World poll, making that majority you mentioned.

So, yeah, this "new and original" idea of yours doesn't have that much supporters overall, just a lot on this forum.

That's pure bullshit though.
When a new world shows up, we get 600+ people playing every single time. Most of them leave as soon as end game starts to creep up on them. Do you really think that if we were to ask all of them if they wanted a fresh world they would decline, despite the fact that they show up for a new world and play for a few months before leaving each and every time?

As for the whole "most people who play the game now don't read the forum" thing, that's untrue as well. We have what? 200 people on each day, give or take. Are you trying to say that only have 66 people from that lot post on here?

Even people who have dedicated a shit load of time to making a massive base want a new world. The early and mid game are by far the best parts of H&H. It's not even up for debate, the numbers speak for themselves.

Nope.

Nope. Basically 70% of initial amount of people overall, just not every day and not 24/7.

Moisture wrote:As for the whole "most people who play the game now don't read the forum" thing, that's untrue as well. We have what? 200 people on each day, give or take.

Again, nope. The "currently playing" number has little to nothing to do with daily amount of players. Please use logic. Average player spends ~4 hours a day ingame. Estimate the number of currently playing to average 200, that makes 1200 players/day. Halve that amount for bots and autostudies, you get 600. Please don't make your conclusions solely on what you see on the forum. That's what made me comment on your post in the first place.

Moisture wrote:Are you trying to say that only have 66 people from that lot post on here?

Yes. Since I am literally sitting on this forum with nothing else to do, having a huge base and waiting for a new world. That doesn't make it a good idea to demand one, neither does it disprove a fact that a lot of players don't give a crap about forum or don't even know English well enough to read it.

Moisture wrote:Even people who have dedicated a shit load of time to making a massive base want a new world.

See above. Me included. Doesn't make us "a majority".

Moisture wrote:The early and mid game are by far the best parts of H&H.

This one is true, mainly because there's no "late game" part without a considerable effort on players' part to entertain themselves.

Moisture wrote:It's not even up for debate, the numbers speak for themselves.

This is "pure bullshit".

just look at the players online right now versus users on the forum and that's how it looks all the time, english speaking forum but we have a large number of players that don't speak or read english

That is some high level autistic posting structure you have going on there which basically amounted to you saying "Nope" with some irrelevant comment following it.
The fact that you seem to think that the people who play now make up 70% of the people who played during the first few weeks of a new world is sheer comedy gold though. You do realize that there were 600+ people on at all time for those initial weeks, right?

Your post isn't valid though.
You're trying to imply that there's some hidden majority that would be pissed off about this world ending in favour of a new one, which quite simply isn't true at all. This small number of players that you see online each day? Yeah, they're the same people that have stuck around throughout all of the other worlds too. They're not going anywhere.

All I am saying is that demanding a new world because a "majority" wants it is wrong. Majority plays the game. "New-worlders" shitpost on forum out of boredom. If you cling to the illusion that the situation is otherwise, that's your right. It didn't work for previous dozen of "new world demanders", it won't work for you. The very fact that you put it in the Inn instead of C&I section is kind of a tell.

Alas, you chose to be rude and childish with all those "autism" and "bullshit" etc. I dislike you now and don't want to continue this debate on my part, because my answers will be clouded by this antipathy, therefore not objective enough.
