Favorite FiLm Tread

Postby Onep » Wed Jul 13, 2016 6:01 pm

So, in my excruciating and unbearable torment of a hiatus from this wonderful cesspit life-giving forum, I was wondering what is everyone's favorite film?

Mine has to be The Last Unicorn. I identify very strongly with the immortal and curious unicorn. For I too wonder where all my people have gone. My favorite quote is nwhe the unicorn loses her immortality to magic and says "I can feel this body dying all around me!" The trials and tribulations of he unicorn as she explores the world outside the safety of her forest really strikes a note in my heart. This powerful and moving film is definitely a must see for any decent human being.

We call it simply, Russian soul.”

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.

My favorite film is greatest masterpiece of cinema.

I have seen this film at least ten times and it is as enjoyable to watch each time as other before time. Highly recommend to any one over this age of 18 years (some naughty bits in this one). I think flowershop scene is best scene in movie, but there existing many of the good moments. Playing football without proper equipment can be fun and challenging!

I was almost sure you'd name something of Lumier's brothers' production.

Anyways, there should be a few movies a person can call "favorite", depending on the purpose that movie if watched for. Some elaborate criminal comedy for entertainment, melodramatic chick flick when feeling melancholic, an action movie with plot as predictable as the CGI are good - to wind up, etcetera etcetera.

This is reason for The Room is being favorite. It is perfect movie, has it all. Great humor and drama, melancholy and action. There is not much else to be desired.

I can't get behing this, it's like putting fried eggs, bacon, a toast, and a glass of juice into the mixer, mixing all that into pulp and saying that it's a good breakfast. However, I understand that this is purely a matter of personal preference.

You will think this, yes, it is very hard to merge all of these things without being shit. But as a great chef can merge all ingredient into one master dish while amateur can only hope to produce filth blender smoothie, Tommy Wiseau can produce master film with many facet. Have you seen this one? It really does pull this off.
