Swam out in the water to pick up a floatsam. Turned out I had full inventory and could not swap out my items / drop the floatsam. I paniced and exited the game while thinking of a plan to fix it.
Amber has a build in "anti-drop stuff in water" thingy, and it was turned on. You overwrite it by holding down ctrl.

Been playing since W6. First death!

Somebody once told me how he drowned with one of the best characters of then current world back in legacy when he saw bluebell on the other side of the river and swam for it without realizing that he had trawled through swamp and he had too little stamina to make it across.

Yeah, I also had a friend who was super strong in legacy, he died because the game froze or something while he was fighting a bear. He lost months of progress!

Well, This character was "only" 3 weeks old. Nothing to cry over, ill just start over and try and learn from my mistakes

lmao, swimming is stupidity if until u are being chased by too many, doesn't matter even if u click at second COAST because if the server will crass u will be pinned to the place cause u stop moving once attempting to log off (if i am not wrong) and if u click at flotsam which is in the middle its just retarded and too much risk for shitty few K of lp
