I understand that you can play legacy haven if you verify your account, but I mean a release of server files so that you could run and play it privately.

I think there are more than a few people that'd drop some solid money for a version of legacy that'd run on a desktop PC and allow a few dozen connections at once a la private Minecraft, Terraria, etc servers. Question is if it's worth the dev time and resources to do this.

As long W7 Legacy runs i think it's out of question anyways ... and dev time is better spent on hafen ...

Devs can easily profit off legacy, all they gotta do is spend time on it. Which they dont really enjoy doing.

A couple of cosmetic add-ons for legacy plus a world restart and they would rake in a lot of money, but they'd rather it wither and die even though it's the game that lasted 2 years with the same world with active fighting/trading/community without really any dev intervention.

What's the point of another 2-months world with 80 players and 160 bots? Legacy worse then hafen even content-wise

Im pretty sure that even if legacy would reset no one would pay anything for it. :roll:
