Hello! I'm a newly registered person, and a new player. I found Haven & Hearth while searching about for an interesting survival game, and I stumbled across this one! So far, I'm hopelessly lost, I can't find a birch tree, but I did find an ancient root, and I've been attacked and mauled by a badger.

...I love it.

This game is really interesting. Perhaps a tad difficult to adjust to, but I see a ton of potential and a lot of fun to be had with it, so I'm looking forward to hopefully getting my bearings, meeting people, and enjoying the game in my free time. I wasn't sure where else I could drop a hello on the forums, or if people would be particularly interested, but I'm going to do it anyway! Right here. If I'm wrong, feel free to point me in the right direction.

Anyhow, I hope to meet some new people, maybe make some friends, and eventually find the ever-elusive birch tree for the bark I need. Speaking of which, I should probably get back to blindly stumbling around to see if I can...
