hunting bug/easy way (no agro loss)

so today i found this very weird shaped river with 2 sides in the middle there is 1 tile wide shallow water, i went ahead and agrod a moose in to this 1 tile shallow water and hit him a couple time with my sling


after hitting the moose a couple of times i realized it lost agro but didnt run (im assuming its because its in a 1 tile wide shallow water and it cant find its path out of this 1 tile)




after shooting it for a while only doing 20 damage a hit took it down with out it ever running away



now this prob wont help any of u that are really ahead in this game already and can 1 shot these animals but this is meant for the rookies and noobs that just started playing and really want to get there hands on that early game bear cape and lynx cape

[edit] p.s. i took damage because i tried agroing it on land with out knowing it was so damn fast

Pathfinding issues will be ignored for the time being. There are some underlying systems slated for rewrites anyway, so I am not going to attempt to track bugs with the existing regimes.
