In addition to learning English, I also struggle with reading when the content contains the popular internet jargon called memes.

When a hospital staff talk to each other, they use medical term with each other.
When a computer staff talk to each other, they use technical terms with each other.
When a group of internet people talk to each other they use (meme) terms with each other?

Not all people use memes on the internet friend.

Typically only degenerates like myself use them in everyday language. If I had to explain exactly what a meme is, I would describe a meme as an in-joke or a poor attempt at being funny.

I have research individual memes but when I do read them, it is not innate. It is as if you are reading a word you do not understand the meaning to. And memes are added very fast.

It is a cultural thing, I think. But also I feel, it makes the conversation more exclusive as those that do not understand feel alienated.
