Stone Tower VS Great Hall

GH gives more area overall but tower gives more per area it takes outside.
area outside doesnt really matter cause u can build as long wall around ur village as u want, so i would build great hall if i wanted storage (and ignored how cool both buildings look like and their material cost)

For a compact place you will want a tower for sure.
Great hall is just a little easier to move in since the floors are bigger.

Different approach: in the great hall you have to cross the ground floor to reach the stairs - in the tower it is quicker to reach them but more levels = more stairs to take. My impression is that with the tower it is on average quicker to reach a random cupboard inside, YMMV.

Tower is cheaper to build if you have minehole or stone patch that gives decent-looking stone at reasonable distance.

Tower's area is divided into 5 floors which is either advantage or disadvantage depending on your view. You can have certain types of items in certain floors, or rather have massive rooms where to have bulk cupboard capacity.

EDIT: as in have just fewer massive rooms with bulk cupboard storage in Great Hall
