icons?

i have a question,
what do the icons mean for a post?
by this i mean
the constitution (heart) icon
the perception (eye) icon
the hearthling (candle) icon
the strength (fist) icon
the aility (boot) icon
and the ??? (green flask) icon

also what does it mean when a forum post is burned at the bottom?
just wondering, thanks! :?:

they dont mean anything you can just put it there so it looks cooler!

burning topic means its on fire which means its popular!

  • Image Eye - Indicates the post contains information that can not be parsed without having vision, useful for (simple) bots and humans who lack sight
  • Image Boot - Indicates that naked feet should not be posted in the thread, whenever possible.
  • Image Fist - Black power, struggle, revolution. Generally used whenever you feel like overthrowing the bourgeoisie for the benefit of the proletariat.
  • Image Hearth/Fire - Symbolizes the fire in the mind, the fire of ideas. If such a symbol is used, users who are anti-mind, anti-life, and anti-reason, should refrain from posting. Trespassers will be shot.
  • Image Candle - For vigils &c, indicates a certain solemnity. This icon used to take on the meaning of the Hearth/Fire icon previously, but the overlap between the icons prompted users to invent new use cases for it. However, it keeps its "idea" name, if you look at the filename. This is due for a change, but loftar hasn't gotten to it yet.
  • Image Heart/Love - Mostly used by PUAs and other people who didn't receive much love from their parents, and hence desperately seek it elsewhere. Women and other feeble-minded folk also seem to love this symbol.
  • Image Posion - This one is pretty self-explanatory, it's for shitposting and blatant rules-breaking. If you want to get post-restricted, please go ahead and use this icon.

We just ban people here. Unless you're the one doing the shooting. In that case, we might have to report it to local authorities.

Well, we do allow a few threads like this, but only if started by jorb. And even these have limits. All others... hope you like brown :twisted:
