Really Loving the Game (Long-ish)

Postby Ariander » Thu Oct 27, 2016 6:46 pm

I realize ppl are going to accuse me of being an obsequious, groveling little toady with this post - but I also believe in giving credit where credit is due...

...and I personally think these on-going updates as well as the complete overhaul of the game/engine with HnH 2.0 (I know that's old news now, but I just returned recently) is outstanding. This game is so engaging and interesting and generally uniquely compelling to all other offerings on the market today. I literally play for hours and have to get scolded by my hubby (yes I'm old married lady) to get off the computer and "get some work done". LOL!

I'm torn between wanting to run out and promote the heck out of it to various places I frequent online, to stingily keeping quiet because I get nervous that with any kind of influx of a larger group of new players can often times have unintended deleterious affects on the general "culture" of the game overall...

But seriously, kudos to the game's creators - its just tremendous. I know you hear plenty of complaining about what's wrong/awful/f*d up about it often enough I figured it was okay to give some praise, that's genuine and appreciative. Thanks for this game, I truly love it!

Thank you! Warms the heart, and I appreciate it a lot. I hope you continue to enjoy it!

As much as some of us do, give are lovely devs propes... we do whine a bit to. So someone out of the blue just giving them a well hearted praze. Even makes me feel good and I am a player.

But if you feel you can trust your friends to not kill you for the lols, get em in lol. If you want to spred the word en mass, I think a lot of people enjoy the influx of new people (for reason being good to being well not so good lol).

It is said that the better you get at this game, the more you hate it. Beware.

It really is a great game. I did get a bit bored when I started to harvest crops and feed animals. Felt like chores when you know you gotta get there to feed them or they will die. You really have to be committed to playing it. Being a basketball coach now, I have no time for it. What I'd really like to see is implementation of seasons, weather, make me change my gameplay a bit.
