What do other Hermits do daily to stay intereste in the game

Curious on what other hermits do daily on the game since I'm kinda bored

Bit of back story with me
Through out my time on haven I've mostly been a peaceful hermit, made a few friends on legacy but lost contact with them when everything changed, I spent a bit of world 9 in a town but became lazy and eventually everyone was killed and moved off without me XD, anyway I've finally permanently settled in a cave on my own and just wondering what is there for me to do now, I've never really understood combat so I used to just travel and loot decayed claims for items and gear but now Im no longer moving around I'm kinda bored and running out of curiosities.

my stats are not great I've always played for fun and usually only for 2-4 hours a day of course this is getting shorter because I'm running out of ideas on what to do.

Tame animals, hunt, build palisade, develop industry and farming.. alot to do actually.

Then later : build a stone tower, find silver/gold, build a knarr, build a second outpost near mountain

Hermits do not have to go into the lensman arms race of quality like the factions do, they can trade for the quality stuff especially since they are not a bunch of people that can be delegated to do other stuff. On the other hand, because of the freedom of the responsibility, they have more liberty to pursue aesthetic or fun project as a primary goal.

I'm also in the same boat. I have a nice claim set up with crops growing and ways to make metal, but all I find myself logging on to do is check curiosities, and even that is starting to feel like a chore.

I feel like anything I can do at this point is just to make a number slightly larger for a small increase in productivity, I don't feel very motivated to do any of that.

I started a story of parts of my daily life, I keep thinking of things to do to stay busy, ect.... its not hard its just remembering I have stuff I can be doing, I do set a ill try and get x done today in my head, I tend to fall short lol, so its all good.

You can try your hand at construction projects. Build a big fortress and decorate it. Step out into the wild to live the life of a nomad, meet new people, and kill them. Dig deep into the earth and found the great mountainhome. The game doesn't have to be about getting bigger numbers. Go out and have some adventures.

I like to see how far I can get with a single character base instead of diversifying my industries (it usually sucks as too much LP and food needed on one character). I'll admit I never get too far, but mostly because the grind for a few points here or there to try and do something a little better gets annoying fast. There's just too many things demanding attention.

I usually just avoid the "burn out" industries or keep them small--silk production, steelmaking, animal husbandry. These are time sensitive and can really be a headache if you miss your time window. The game is much more fun without the headaches.

Act as a nomad and log in at least once a week. I either stay in one area for a short period of time or move onto the next; as I enjoy exploring and mapping the most in the game.
