How do the devs pronounce this?

Postby linkfanpc » Wed Jan 04, 2017 5:52 pm

How do the devs personally pronounce Haven & Hearth? I used to say it like "hayvehn and herth" but changed to "harth" since "herth" isn't a real word.

What about Jorb and Loftar? I've always pronounced Jorb "Johrb" and Loftar "Lahftahr", and i'm sure that's how they are pronounced, but eh, i want clarification!
Total misplay.

Harth, indeed.

I pronounce it "jerb" and "lehrfterr"

Seems like we have word from god on how to pronounce the game, so I won't comment on that.

English is a dumb language, either way is correct. Hear, heard, heart.

Just because letters make many sounds in many words does not mean letters make many sounds in single word.

I'd argue the flexibility of English as far as pronunciation is concerned is exactly what makes English particularly good; not "dumb".
