they keep copyright striking one of my videos. I dispute the claim, takes few weeks. They do nothing.
I dispute it again, takes again few weeks, then they remove their claim. Few months and they will claim the copyrights of the same video again. Earning a shitton of money from ads and stuff in the process. Like a few views at least, multiply that by other people with similar issues in youtube and its a lots of money. Sure they have to make profit by someway, but I dont think this is the right one.

Im pretty sure that no one even reads my disputes. Its just a bot that claims my video, it will refuse the first time. But it will accept the second dispute.
Of course it will wait most of that "up to 30 days" just so they can get their hands on my video for as long as possible.

In my case its some random music copyright holding company called HorusMusic. Some artist "Dartland" claims that songs used in my video are made by him. The funny thing is, that you can find 100% the same songs from youtube uploaded BEFORE that artist even released the songs. Its really weird, isnt it? Go ahead and try to find information about Dartland, you can not find any. I think that some random guy or that music company just ripped bunch of songs from youtube and started to call them their own to strike people and grab those 2 months of ad revenue.


Actually I remember that song was from album called junkyard serum - Dartland.
You can google and find that the album was indeed being sold in multiple places. But those sites only give you 404. Why this "HorusMusic" still has it on their lists, I dont know.

Asshats like that guy are just like patent trolls. They manipulate legal processes to shut everyone else down in hopes that someone pays them money to continue doing business. You can't work in publishing anything these days without facing this problem. Accept it or give up.

Im pretty sure that youtube lets it happen because they probably earn money in the side as well.

Well, they get whatever advertising money they get while the video is up. If they were purely looking at their bottom dollar, why pull anything down unless it was proven otherwise*? Oh, yeah. They're a US company required to follow US laws.

*Just one of my many complaints about the DMCA, but that's a discussion for later.

They dont block them, instead. They put a shitton of ads on videos that I dont have ads enabled. And all revenue goes to youtube and that music copyright holder thing.

But thats not what they are doing.
They dont pull it down. Its just automated thing that puts ads on my videos.
