WWW Randomness

Postby r0ck4ev3r » Thu Jan 12, 2017 5:20 pm

Has anyone else noticed that biome seems to effect the randomness of the WWW. Idk if I'm a noob or if this is a bug, but I have only received: Carrots, Pipeweed, Poppy, Pumpkin, and Grapes- I've dried around 100 WWW. (edit: larger sample size)

If it is same as last world and my memory is good, each minimap grid has its own type of crops it can drop. You must search many different grids to get many different crops.

Yeah... don't think it's biome. This is a half-theory that can't be proven. The only reliable theory is what Ysh said. I'm not saying it can't be right, but there hasn't been any reliable evidence presented, but when people make sure to check by each mini-map, they eventually get all the seeds they need.

In the last world, near the start (of when I played - not the world) my wwws gave up a great variety of seeds.

Near the end, after I moved to set up a permanent base - the wwws only gave Onions and Hops. That's it.

I am apparently in the Land of Salad, with cucumbers and lettuce everywhere. We've also got a bit of hemp, and one or two each of carrots, poppies, pumpkins and grapes.

Am I brave enough to venture through that whirlpool on a quest for cereal crops? Not yet, I think!

I remember a village mate having to travel at least 20 minutes to get to a grid with cereal on it last world. Such is life in the Hearthlands.

I think I'm in the same area, and yeah, I went through a whirlpool and found barley there.

Oh, that sounds like a very long time to me. I think I'll be a modern young person and embrace the low-carb lifestyle instead.
