I've played this game back when my old computer could handle the graphics, but I had to leave shortly after because world 8 came.

Now I have a decent PC and I remembered this game. I did some boring shit for a day and I have gotten to the point where I'm a faggot wearing a sprucecap with a small base full of junk.
I guess I'm kind of different than all other players, because I've been actively looking for another player. I've been more lucky than others, I often encounter decent people. Unless they're russian, of course, in that case all you can do is run. That's been my philosophy so far.


Just twenty minutes ago I had gotten away from my base to find some stuff, and when I came back an alarm went off and scared the shit out of me. I looked at the map, and I finally found what I had been looking for, at a dozen meters of distance from my base: someone!
He started running, though. I chased him, saying things such as "Hey, we need to talk!" like a NPC. He had something I didn't have, though: a boat. Hadn't figured out how to make those yet. When he reached it, all I could do was look at him go. Shame.

I went back to my base and checked if something was missing. Nothing, it seemed.
Then I just stood by the bank of the river. Maybe he'll come back with fifteen other people, I was thinking.
Incredibly enough, he did come. By himself, though. Just when I had retreated back to my house (ten meters away from the river).
And then... just look at the chatlog.

And then he just left! He didn't do anything to me! He was wearing a spruce cap and was wielding an axe and a saw, but as soon as he said that he was ashamed I was so fucking sure he was going to whip out a sword and stab me and then shitpost about it on the forums. I mean... an ashamed person? In this game? He took out a crate full of curios which he had stolen from me (I hadn't even noticed). And that's not even it. HE WAS A FUCKING RUSSIAN. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

On another note though, I remember killing a Russian who then proceeded to tell me his whole life story, he was a 50 year old with back problems or shit like that, and started crying when I killed him, so I just gave him back his body, a shitload of curios and some gear
