Tried to get my friend to play

Tried to get my friend to play today with my girlfriend and I, he quit because he got frustrated trying to find one of us. After an hour he gave up and quit the game. Just some feedback saying I think we should be able to spawn with or close friends somehow. We couldn't figure out a way after searching the forums a bit so I assume there is no way to do it right now
