how do you find new games

me i go to my classic games i love (supremacy1914, call of war, warspear, call of roma, kongergate (reator idle mostly and factoryidle) and i just ask people what games thay like i figured if thay play a game i like prob can guide me to another (i found this game in reactor idle askking for sandbox mmos)

I normally got it from watching Youtubers playing new games. One good example would our Haven and Hearth here - I first known about it from ProJared, who was reviewing this game when it was in 2D, and then lately I got it from Mah-Dry-Bread.

Typically I watch steam charts and check out anything that shows up in the top 100. Beyond that good old word of mouth basically.

Gameranx on youtube is a pretty solid channel. im not usually into big youtube channels, but these guys dont shill too hard and give pretty inbiased information, so i enjoy it.

Steam's queue feature is great.

Dwarf Fortress' Other Games board is basically the best resource to discuss games on the internet
