My Review of the Game

Postby Jpnn » Tue Jun 20, 2017 10:55 am

After playing this game for 3 weeks I came from a brainless noob to a experienced noob,
but the game is soo cool and interesting that I just kept playing and having fun at it.

The game is not perfect, nothing in life is. The combat can suck a big dick, the pathfinding system is weird,
the textures are off and I had to download a UI Client overhaul just to understand what was going on.

But for a game made by 2 gnomes in a tower ? Holy shit you guys are genius ! The growing complexity and
the learning curve that came with it, the many buildings and systems of resource gathering and manufacturing
all soo real and yet not boring. Yes, I had cases where my life became a farm simulator, but I had to fight hard
to build all that I had. I also love the instruments, as a pianist in real life, I would travel with my pipebag on a
boat just to play to different people that I would find in this world. And thats the best part, the world is massive
but sparsely populated, everytime I find someone I get excited to see someonelse than me, but at the same time
scared because of the tough death system in place.

Overall, the game is great but has a lot to improve (combat Im talking to you) but I liked it soo much that I spent
my 15 Dollars to support the devs :D

Glad that you like the game :)

I find it amazing as well a game as fun as this is made by only two people.

Always have multiple points of improvement but that's why it's alpha stage :D

I wouldn't word it like that, it's a nice diversion from the usual pure 'xy sucks' posts (which are more common as people are more likely to post negative feedback).

Negative feedback is positive, positive feedback is redundant.

This is why I need slavery in the game. I want to capture you and make you play music for your freedom.

Agreed, the combat is complete trash!! Even a noob acknowledges this and some other new people on the forums i have seen too, but some players that have been playing this game for years don't, because they have autism and loftar/jorb keeps reimplementing trash combat systems

Send me a msg later and I can create a new char to spawn close to you and I show you some songs :). But you will need to provide the pipebag or flute

Yeah, the current combat system isn't really good at all. The previous one was the one I liked more as it had the possibility that you didn't get hit at all if you're careful enough, whereas with the current one you pretty much require armor to tame things if you aren't ultra strong & shit.
