F2P MMORPG Steam games like silkroad online graphics?

Postby donatas » Sun Oct 01, 2017 10:46 pm

I haven't had any luck finding any good F2P MMORPG games on steam that would have similar graphical design as silkroad online and not cartoony like anime or world of warcraft clones, also not turn based or button smash, but rather simple old school-ish where you click on monster and character would attack by automatically unless a command from 1-0 is used. Also it is a pain in the ass that steam doesn't let you to exclude genres. I hope you guys could help me out since I am bored of waiting for crops to grow or curiosity to finish studying, since haven and hearth pretty much waiting game which does have its charm, but also I guess you would need another more interactive game by your side.

ps. Can't be bothered to redownload all mmos separately so I am sticking with steam, since that library option is really handy to have all games in one place. Also silkroad only graphics look good for its time and doesn't use that much performance on pc and kinda looks semi-reaslitic and I have seen many mmos like that that weren't on steam or unless I just couldn't find them.

Tree of Savior isn't bad, if you liked Ragnarok you'd like it

Maplestory 2 is much better, but you need a vpn ... and has cartoon graphic, but it's way better than tree of savior.

I'm assuming by "good" f2p MMOs you mean something that I'm not quite understanding, as there are several out there with the Korean style of anime graphics and I would say are fairly good. I gave up on SRO because it was too damn grindy past level 10-15 or so unless you ponied up a hell of a lot more than a WoW subscription cost every month at the time.

Maybe a list of games you liked/didn't like? And I'd suggest to just ignore the graphics as anything other than a means to convey the data of the MMO to you.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
