I'm gonna need a bit more info on this

Is it a pack of icons? Or just the two in the OP?

basically, its just two .ico files, by the time you get this the links should be fixed, one is the inn of brodgar image, the other is a picture of the ring of brodgar i isolated from Legacy Haven and cleaned up a bit

If anyone has any ideas for other things that might be nice ico's for Hafen/Legacy, feel free to suggest them and I'll try and put it together and add it to the OP! :)

Obviously. I'd use it if I didn't have custom ico files set for my games already.

In case anyone's interested in making some, just save a .bmp and change its file extension to .ico. I usually do a 96x96 image.

What are .ico files generally used for and why are they different from other image types like .PNG?

.ico files can be used as icons for folders and files. .ico has backwards compatibility and can store multiple versions and sizes, among other uses. .PNG can't be put as an icon for some (mostly older) operating systems, so programs that cover a wide array of operating systems will use .ico files. But if it's just for your personal use, the file type doesn't really matter, as long as it works.

Ah I see
Thanks for the explanation.

I noticed that photoshop isn't able to open the file type.
What is a good program to use to mess around with these files?
