Would it be possible to do it on Friday/Saturday?
This could widen the audience, as more people might have a day off the next (so skipping sleep wouldn't be that big of an issue)...

Given it's middle of January, how about something like "last Tuesday of the month" so anyone that cares knows it's coming.
