The only celebration of Easter my family has is that my mother buys us chocolate bunnies. My brothers and I are all athiest, or agnostic at best, and my poor mother is probably the only person in my family with any faith. I love her so and I wish I shared her faith, I wish with all my heart she is correct in her belief.

Mämmi is not just a "dessert"
You can eat it all day.
Or at least I do.
It is quite healthy too, as it consists of mostly rye and water.

Well, if she's wrong, no harm, right? If she's right, well... I'm sure you know.

The progress of mankind doesn't have to stop just because you believe or don't.

And shouldn't that be the resurrection of Jesus? After all, we eat of the flesh and drink of the blood in remembrance of His death frequently. We only celebrate His life twice a year: birth and resurrection.

Just putting it out there but pretty sure the real Jesus never came back to life.
The actual guy, not the fantasy legend the apostles made up to spread their faith.

The true story of easter is that the Jews tricked the Romans into killing a very wise young man with some very loyal and passionate friends, who then sought revenge against the Roman empire and got it.

No magic to see here people, move along, move along.
