Alright so I have been doing fine, im new to the game but.. my character literally just fell over dead randomly.. IM pretty pissed off and when i made a new character it spawned way the hell away from all my friends. Why did i just die in the middle of my land?!

You can't die from eating food, but you can definitely die from not eating food

I shouldnt have, I still had a yellow bar in my food thing. and I had a ton of food around me. and some in my inventory.
He just keeled over randomly when i was cooking a bit more.

like im sooo angry right now cus i lost everything but i also spawned hella far :/ I dont wanna make a new character if he might die from cooking. I thought maybe i was too close to the fire?

If you go into the character creation screen you can respawn/inherit your old hearthfire by right clicking the runestone inside of the stick fence area. Select the character you want to inherit and walk into the fire after setting your name and all of that stuff.

After your body decays into a skeleton (24 hours or so) you can build a grave and bury your ancestor. Pick up the body and right click it onto the grave. You can bury the skull in the same way if you've already detached it.

Also, once you've buried your body you can right click prettymuch any flower on to the grave for the chance at an exp event

appreciate it man, sucks he died, says he took 20 points of starvation but the bar showed him at a lil over
