Last day of my character

Postby Ragitas » Sat Jun 02, 2018 7:23 pm

So I am a bit uneasy now - and venting it all out through this post. My character died due to network disconnect while I was crossing a river. Just a few steps out of my gates. I knew that there is death here but never expected to go that way:(.

Now I am in the middle of my place, seeing the body but can't get it. All the tools and keys are on it so I can't get out. Can't bring myself to get all those credos once again. Perhaps in another world.

Thank you all for the nice time I had here.

Farewell,
Rondel

you keep your credos when you inherit from the character, and of course a percentage of his stats if you can get the body.

And it'll actually make the credos easier: # total quests = (# completed credos - character deaths) * 10. Min 10.

Lesson: never swim. Swimming is a death sentence, even if you can cross a lake without needing to break for stamina refresh. OR, just click on land on the other side and don't click anywhere else until you get there. Even if your client crashes, your character should still keep moving towards the last place you were moving to.

Sorry to see you give up after this. Picking a character back up after a death is much easier than starting back over as long as you weren't run out of your home. Good luck with whatever you get up to next.

You should always keep master key inside (and never take it outside.)

Thanks to visitor (de)buff it's possible to keep gates open. Risk of someone luring animal to bash stuff or scout for valuables can be eliminated with pic related. There's no lock in the roundpole gate, visitor will prevent people from opening it.

Don't dwell too much on this, try to take it as learning experience. I' have experienced multiple things comparable to this.
